The universal glass, also called an all-purpose stemmed glass, is designed to serve red wine, white wine or water alike. Its mid-sized bowl makes it ideal for tables that value simplicity: a single model for the whole service. Choosing your universal glass

Which capacity should you choose?

Universal glasses generally range from 25 to 45 cl. A medium capacity suits most wines served by the glass while remaining easy to store and handle in service. Among the safe bets, the Abeille collection is the best-selling, followed by Open Up - Mikasa, Viticole and Elegance.

Universal glass or dedicated glasses?

The universal glass simplifies table setting and reduces the number of references to manage. To distinguish services, choose a red wine glass and a white wine glass; for sparkling wines, see the champagne flute.

Tempered glass or crystalline?

Tempered glass withstands knocks and the pace of catering well. Crystalline, finer and brighter, enhances presentation. Models in our range are dishwasher-safe unless stated otherwise on the product sheet.
