The beer glass holds a distinct place in our Appetizer and cocktail glass section: every beer style calls for a suitable vessel, from the classic half-pint to the tulip glass designed for abbey beers. In cafés, brasseries and restaurants as well as at home, the right glass showcases the head, the aromas and the colour of the brew. Here you will find robust tempered-glass models for intensive service alongside more refined shapes made for tasting.

Choosing the right beer glass

Which shape for which type of beer?

A straight or conical glass (mug or half-pint style) suits lagers and pilsners served in volume. For more aromatic beers (wheat, amber, abbey beers), a stemmed or tulip glass concentrates the aromas towards the nose and supports a generous head. Match the capacity to the portion served (25 cl, 33 cl, 50 cl).

Tempered or standard glass for professional use?

In the hospitality trade, opt for tempered glass: it withstands knocks and repeated glasswasher cycles better. For a beer bar or a refined table, non-tempered models offer thinner walls. Always check the dishwasher compatibility stated on the product sheet.
