This 16cm fillet kitchen knife made in Nitrum stainless steel is part of the Universal series by Arcos which is characterized by its design made for an everyday use.
The Universal kitchen knives series is made in high quality steel as a starting point: NITRUM. Indeed, Nitrum is a nitrogen enriched, eco-friendly stainless steel formula. It permits to improve the hardness, to enhance the cutting power, to improve the durability and also the microstructure of all the kitchen knives.
The ergonomic and slip-resistant handle contrasts with the stainless steel colour of the blade and provides to this fillet knife a firm and comfortable grip. Manufactured from stainless steel and polyoxymethylene (POM), this fish kitchen knife has a really good finish, is detergent resistant and has a high tolerance to wear and tear as well as resistance to high and low temperatures (from -40 to +150°C).
Use: with a blade length from 15cm to 28cm, the fillet knives have the same flexible blade than the boning knives but used to fillet and prepare fish. Indeed, the length allows these kitchen knives to move easily along the backbone of fish.
