Krysta® is a lead-free, very high-purity glass developed by the Arc group. It offers transparency close to lead crystal, brilliance that does not tarnish over time, and dishwasher resistance far superior to traditional crystal. This material is used across most current Éclat collections.

Why is the Longchamp glass an icon of French stemware?

Longchamp was designed in 1979 by Jacques Durand, then chairman of Arc, inspired by the shape of an anemone vase during a meeting. Its flared bowl and moulded stem went around the world — more than 355 million pieces sold — and it remains the reference for accessible "crystal-style" stemware, widely used in French and international professional catering.
