Choosing your cooking plate

Induction or auxiliary hotplate?

An induction plate offers rapid heat-up and fine adjustment, suited to controlled cooking on a mobile station. An auxiliary hotplate is right for keeping food warm and for dining-room service, where autonomy matters more than raw power.

What power and compatibility?

Power determines the responsiveness of the plate; for induction, check that the cookware used is compatible with this heating mode. In professional use, verify that the appliance matches the electrical installation of the workstation.
