Which capacity for tea?

A teacup generally holds between 18 and 25 cl, a larger volume than a coffee cup so as to allow for infusion and retain heat. A matching saucer eases service and holds the spoon.

Porcelain or glass?

Porcelain retains temperature well and offers a classic look. Tempered glass showcases the colour of the infusion and resists impacts; it suits teas and herbal infusions you wish to present visually.
