Which capacity to choose?

9 cl for individual plate service (vinaigrette, signature sauce, condiment). 15 cl for two-person table service. 30 cl for volume service on family tables or banquets, where the sauce boat is passed between guests.

How do you use a sauce boat in service?

The sauce boat is presented to the right of the plate or at the centre of the table depending on service. The side handle makes it easy to grip and pour cleanly without splashes. For hot sauces, briefly preheat the sauce boat with hot water to avoid thermal shock.

Are these sauce boats dishwasher-safe?

Food-grade stainless steel handles the dishwasher. Dry immediately on removal to avoid water marks. For sauces that dry quickly (reduced meat jus), an immediate rinse prevents stubborn residues.
