The Vacu Vin brand vacuum pump and stoppers are a practical solution for preserving already opened wine and extending its shelf life. By removing the air from the bottle, they reduce the oxidation of the wine and therefore preserve its taste and aroma for several days or even weeks, depending on the type of wine.
The operation is simple: just place the cork in the neck of the wine bottle and pump the air using the pump provided. By pumping, you suck the air out of the bottle, creating a partial vacuum. The audible "click" tells you that you have reached the vacuum level necessary to preserve the wine.
It is important to store the wine bottle appropriately after use. Wine should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from light and vibrations.
