Cobbler or Boston shaker?

The three-piece cobbler shaker includes a strainer and a cap: practical and self-contained, it is ideal for home use. The Boston shaker, made of a glass and a tin, offers greater volume and a grip favoured by bartenders, but requires a separate strainer.

Which capacity and material?

A capacity of 50 to 70 cl covers most single or double recipes. Stainless steel remains the reference for its impact resistance, good cold conduction and easy cleaning. Check that the parts fit together for a leak-tight seal during the shake.
