This 39cl stem glass made of Krysta of Chef & Sommelier's collection Open Up Spirit – Mikasa is ideal for the tasting of brown liqueurs such as brandies and Armagnac. Its short stem allows the hand to take place under the bottom of the glass and thus to warm naturally these alcohols that have to be tasted at around 22°C.
The narrowed top of the glass allows to limit the amount of alcohol coming out of the liqueur, in order to avoid any sensation of burn to the nose, and this without altering the scenting properties. The range Open Up Spirit is made of Krysta, a new high technology material created by the research center Arc International. This material allows a great resistance to shocks, an absolute transparency of the glass as well as a perfect shine, even after 2000 cycles of industrial washings.
